Make your message heard on the global stage.

Today’s move toward globalization presents both challenges and opportunities. Gaipro can help you take advantage of those many opportunities by translating your message into other languages and tailoring it for specific countries or a global audience.

Gaipro translates a wide range of materials for business, government, and professional organizations in various fields. But our specialty is PR and audiovisual materials — we are one of the leading voice-over and narration companies in Japan.

Gaipro handles every step of putting videos, commercials, etc. into English and other languages.

Conventional translation agencies do not have the knowledge or experience needed — scripts end up too long or wordy, do not accurately match the visual flow, are more suitable for printed materials than narration, and are not “ear-friendly” for the listener.

Conventional voice-over agencies can provide a narrator but not a professional-sounding script. A good voice alone is not enough to overcome poorly written, unnatural sounding material.

Gaipro handles every step, providing “one-stop shopping” that’s fast and convenient.

Who?

Gaipro uses only native speakers. Our aim is for audiovisual and printed materials to sound and read like they were created by professionals.

Where?

Should you use Gaipro or another company? That depends on the quality you want or need. A good way to determine this is to use the “Rule of Hand” below. Using English translation as an example, it shows the 5 levels of quality different companies provide. Gaipro offers services at levels 4 and 5, so if you don’t need this high level of quality we suggest you contact a conventional company.

• Level 1 — Japlish. Meaning not understandable to a native speaker.

• Level 2 — Japlish but meaning is understandable.

• Level 3 — Literal translation. English is correct but not attractive. Sentence structure often resembles the original Japanese.

• Level 4 — English is attractive and easily understandable to a native speaker.

• Level 5 — Copywriting. Commercials, advertising materials, etc. Natural English is created based on the original Japanese theme. The concept is evaluated regarding suitability for a non-Japanese target audience — a new concept is suggested if considered necessary.
